Image credit : The Digital Fix Marvel has done it again with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, giving us a film with two credit scenes! Yes, that's alright. In addition, director James Gunn's cast and team produced the best Marvel film in a long time and made a touching farewell to characters that viewers have grown to love over the course of almost ten years. The Guardians, in what appears to be their final film together, use the strength of their relationships to rescue Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) from The High Evolutionary's (Chukwudi Iwuji) grasp. Additionally, they succeed in rescuing the other creatures being experimented on by The High Evolutionary and providing them with a home at their base of operations on Knowhere. A lot of things are put into perspective when you consider how many times the cosmos has been saved and how nearly destroyed each time. Credit Scene 1: New Guardians of the Galaxy roster

Rocket and his new group of Guardians enter the mid-credits scene. It's Rocket, Cosmo the telekinetic dog (voiced by Maria Bakalova), Will Poulter's superpowered himbo Adam Warlock, Sean Gunn's clumsy Kraglin, a very large Groot, and one of the Star Kids—platinum-haired kids who may or may not have superpowers—who were freed from The High Evolutionary's prison. They are chatting about their favourite tunes while loitering just beyond a village's boundaries. Rocket applauds Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love" before the new Guardians circle. [caption id="attachment_169445" align="aligncenter" width="1200"]Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3[/caption] Rocket starts the song, and as it progresses, a horde of alien creatures charge the settlement and the Guardians strike a heroic group pose before charging into battle. It is effective on two levels. It mostly introduces the new roster for the Guardians now that Rocket is in charge. The mainstays like Peter Quill, Gamora, and Drax are no longer around. The same is true for the newest recruits, such as Mantis and Nebula. But now, Kraglin has mastered the hot pink, whistle-controlled arrow previously wielded by Star-Lord's adoptive father Yondu, and Adam Warlock and Cosmo now possess superpowers. In terms of personality, Warlock is a lot like Drax in terms of cerebral density, and Cosmo is a lot like Mantis in terms of cute but mighty attitude. Groot is Groot, but bigger, and Kraglin is still a little bit of a clown. This next group of Guardians might have a similar dynamic to the first group. The unnamed Star Kid is the wild card. The infant seems to have some special abilities because they glow, but the video ends before we see them engage in combat. Also Read: Super Mario Bros. Movie Goes Viral: Twitter Users Tweet Whole Script of the Film We learn in passing during the course of the film that The High Evolutionary tampered with these kids' genes and gave them superhuman intelligence. We also watch while The High Evolutionary studies while hamster wheeling nonstop. But the precise powers they might possess are unknown. In the movie's credits, they are simply referred to as "Star Kids." Although there is a character named Star-Child, a race of characters called Zebra Kids that The High Evolutionary is intrigued by, and a few Guardians-adjacent characters who have star symbols on their uniforms, the term doesn't really have a direct comic book reference. However, perhaps we'll learn more about the child's abilities in a later film. It's also noteworthy what tune Rocket chose. Guardians aficionados will immediately notice it. The theme tune from "Come and Get Your Love" was heard at the opening scene of the first Guardians of the Galaxy film from 2014.

Credit Scene 2: Peter Quill reunion with his grandfather

We have a glimpse of Peter Quill's reunion with his grandfather (Gregg Henry) in the closing credits scene. following spending so much time apart, the two are now able to reunite following their last encounter in 1988. After being apart for a while, Peter and Gramps enjoy breakfast together and argue, just like we do with our own families. [caption id="attachment_169446" align="aligncenter" width="1200"]Peter Quill reunion with his grandfather  Peter Quill reunion with his grandfather[/caption] Peter is referring to an unidentified neighbour who asked him to cut the lawn. When the person asking is more than capable of doing it themselves or finding someone else to do it, he questions why he should do it. In a nod to a movie running joke, Peter's grandfather concurs and advises not to start him up. A title card that appears at the end of the sequence promises that the "Legendary" Star-Lord will return, although it doesn't give a date. While Star-Lord will make a comeback in a future film, it is unknown if the other Guardians will accompany him. Though no solo films starring the Guardians or Peter Quill have been formally confirmed, if Guardians Vol. 3 is as successful as its predecessors, don't anticipate Marvel to let the team retire just yet.
