In order to prevent drivers from tossing rubbish out of their car windows, AI cameras are being installed on several UK roadways.

at an effort to detect vehicles who litter, AI-powered cameras will be deployed at British lay-bys in the upcoming weeks, according to The Metro. The news source stated that fines for offenders might reach £100, or $126.

The programme is being tested by National Highways, an organisation created to maintain and enhance important roadways. According to The Metro, it will cooperate with an East Hampshire county council subsidiary.
