The Amazfit Balance has been unveiled as the brand’s latest fitness-oriented smartwatch. It offers a whole host of health features with most of them powered by AI via Zepp Aura as well as the earlier released Zepp coach to answer your queries in a straightforward manner.
The Amazfit Balance is a 46mm smartwatch featuring a 1.5-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 480×480 and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. To safeguard the screen, it is equipped with a layer of tempered glass.
It also holds a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, allowing it to withstand water depths of up to 50 meters, and it is powered by a 475 mAh battery, which can last for approximately 14 days under typical usage. Alternatively, when using battery saver mode, it can extend its battery life to about 25 days, but with dual-band GPS constantly active, it may last only 26 hours.
Additionally, Amazfit offers more than 150 sports modes and 200 watch faces pre-installed, leaving the Balance with just 2.2 GB of storage capacity for storing music and other files.
Besides its AI-powered functionality, the Balance is equipped with an upgraded dual-LED BioTracker 5.0 biometric optical sensor. The smartwatch can efficiently monitor your physical and mental health status, allowing you a Readiness score to strike a perfect balance between rest and activity.
According to Amazfit, the latest timepiece can assess body composition, which was earlier limited to Galaxy Watch only. Thus, the Amazfit Balance can analyze your body fat, bone mass, muscle, bones, and water percentages.
Coupled with SpO2 sensor and built-in Zepp Coach software, the device can give a holistic picture of your health. The AI-style chatbot is there to answer your queries. There is also AI sleep coaching by Zepp Aura, which requires a paid subscription but is free for the first three months.
Moreover, the device has an integrated sleep coach by Zepp Aura which requires a US$69.99 subscription service, however it is free for the first three months.
