Apple is celebrating the Japanese New Year with a two-day promo and limited-edition AirTags.
Customers in Japan can get a gift card deal worth to 32,000 yen when they buy an eligible Apple product between January 2 and January 3. They start at 8,000 yen with an Apple Watch and go up to 32,000 yen for specific Mac models.
The first 30,000 customers who buy a new iPhone SE, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, or iPhone 13 mini during the promotion will receive a limited-edition AirTag with a cute Year of the Rabbit engraving. That iPhone investment also includes an 8,000 yen gift card.

The promotion is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Customers who bought an eligible iPhone through the Apple Store App are not eligible for this promotion and won't get a special edition of AirTag.
The promotion is available in Apple retail stores in Japan in addition to the company's website.
In 2021, Apple ran a similar promotion with limited-edition AirTags and Beats Studio Buds to commemorate the Year of the Tiger.
