Apple iPhone 14 Pro Supply Ramped Up Again After Shortages

According to a Wall Street expert, Apple (AAPL) seems to have recovered from the shortages that affected the availability of iPhone 14 Pro models over the holiday shopping season. According to JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee, his company's channel inspections show an increased supply of the most recent iPhones' premium models. The supply of those well-liked iPhone 14 models had been drastically reduced in November and December due to worker protests and Covid pandemic lockdowns in China. In a note to customers, Chatterjee stated that the availability of iPhone 14 Pro models has gradually improved and that most models are now, for the first time since the product's Sept. 16 debut, accessible for in-store pickup across all geographies. "Lead times for the Pro models are now tracking in line with lead times seen prior to the Covid outbreak in Zhengzhou, China, suggesting that supply is improving and inching slowly towards parity with demand," he said. Apple's main iPhone factory is located in Zhengzhou. JPMorgan tracks iPhone lead times and handset availability in the U.S., China, Germany and U.K.
