The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are set for transition as Apple ditches Lightning for USB-C charging port. Apple went on to announce that it would also be replacing the wired charging jack on AirPods Pro which debuted last year with a USB-C charging port. Now the new iPhone 15 users will be able to charge their earbuds through the same cable for both devices. Also, users can now charge their AirPods from their iPhone, Apple mentioned it during the presentation event.
The new charging port is unlikely to have any impact on the charging speed of the AirPods case.
The latest AirPods Pro with a USB-C case is available for pre-order with a price tag of $249 but you need to wait for it until September 22, Friday for its arrival.
