Apple is supposedly "seriously" concerned about the iPhone 14 Plus's sales performance, the 6.7-inch non-Pro variant of the iPhone 14 lineup. As a result, it is thinking about how to restructure its iPhone lineup for the coming year. Apple is considering ways to rethink how it treats professional and non-professional iPhones for the iPhone 15.
According to a blog post by Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could further distinguish the pro and non-pro iPhones. The company is also considering lowering the price of the iPhone Plus, which starts at $899. A price cut would imply that the standard iPhone would also be reduced unless Apple wishes to close the price between the two models.
Apple has significantly reevaluated its iPhone line-up in the last few years, giving users the choice to select the size of their iPhone to luxe models well within the series.

Most iPhone 15 models are expected to get Dynamic Island. Apple began selling two standards and two high-end models in identical sizes: 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch models. The only physical difference between them is a larger battery in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It's still a year away, therefore it's too early to tell what strategic plan Apple will employ.
Meanwhile, it was reported last month that the tech giant's forthcoming smartphone iPhone 15 will boast a titanium chassis with curved rear edges, replacing the current squared-off design. The iPhone 15's back edges are projected to be rounded to create a new border, similar to the bottom edges of Apple's 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro cases.
