Apple "threatened to remove Twitter" from App Store: Elon Musk claims

According to Elon Musk, Apple has "threatened to withhold" the Twitter app from the App Store, the area where iPhone and iPad users may download apps. His latest assertion coincides with reports and theories that the well-known tech company may be removing Twitter from the Apple App Store owing to moderation issues. According to The Washington Post's most recent news report, Elon Musk announced on Twitter that Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has threatened to remove his social media service from the App Store. The multibillionaire businessman argues that the iPhone manufacturer did not offer an explanation for this action. The head of Tesla and SpaceX also disclosed that the phone manufacturer has mostly stopped spending money on adverts on his social media site. One of the most significant marketers in the microblogging service, according to The Washington Post, is Apple. If Apple actually disables Twitter, users of iPhones and iPads will no longer be able to download the app. Instead, they might use a browser to access the service. Musk claims on Twitter that Apple has primarily stopped advertising. Elon Musk The Twitter CEO added another criticism of the iPhone manufacturer in a subsequent tweet. He asserts that Apple has stopped running some of its social networking service's adverts. Musk appears to be upset that one of Twitter's biggest advertisers is suddenly reducing its expenditure on the social media site. The large phone manufacturer reportedly spent over $48 million on the social network in the first quarter of 2022, according to The Washington Post. The tech giant is unmatched in terms of spending on the service's advertising.
