Apple’s Upcoming Macbook Pro Could Have a 20-Inch Folding Screen

According to a claim from the Korean technology news website The Elec, Apple is working on a 20-inch display. Although its true use is unknown, there is conjecture that it is intended for a MacBook or MacBook Pro-like gadget. This project has no firm production schedule and may just be one of Apple's numerous technological or patent exercises. However, insiders claim that the Cupertino, California-based corporation anticipates releasing 20-inch foldable gadgets between 2026 and 2027. The hardware, which is being jointly developed with a South Korean company (perhaps Samsung or LG), measures 20.25 inches when the display is completely extended. The Elec predicts there is a good chance the project's baby will resemble a MacBook notebook in shape. The idea behind that is that the folded size of the 20.25-inch display will be 15.3 inches. Current Apple MacBooks have displays that are between mid- and upper-10 inches in size, and iPad tablets range in size from just under 10 inches to low-10-plus inches, all of which fit the new display's form factor. However, might this 20-inch folding display be combined with other Apple patents, including morphing touchscreen keyboards? In either case, it would be a significant change for MacBook users and probably meet with a lot of resistance, particularly from those who like the responsiveness, tactility, and productivity of physical keyboards.
