The company recently confirmed that the keynote event for the Apple WWDC 2022 (Worldwide Developers Conference) would start at 10 a.m. PT on June 6. Additionally, the keynote event will be online only. However, Apple invited a selected number of developers to the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, for a viewing event too.
WWDC is Apple’s annual conference where developers get to attend various sessions and meet with Apple engineers. The WWDC 2022 will be a free digital event held from June 6 to June 10. Apple also shared the WWDC 2022 schedule alongside details regarding the keynote event.
The Platforms State of the Union for developers will take place on June 6 at 1:00 p.m. PT (Pacific Time) after the keynote event. After that, the Apple Design Awards will follow at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the same day. Additionally, from June 7, Apple will offer session videos on all of the new features added to its various software. It will include changes that will come to the iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16, macOS 13, and watchOS 9.
Besides that, Apple engineers and designers will host activities in Digital Lounges over the course of the Apple WWDC 2022 week. Thus, it will allow developers to engage in technical discussions, question and answer sessions, and connect with the community. Most importantly, the company advised developers that will attend the Apple WWDC 2022 to download the Apple Developer app. Therefore, the attendees can wholly experience the event and stay up to date with all of its announcements.
