Later this month, Sony plans to introduce its upgraded PlayStation VR headset. On February 22, the new PSVR2 headset is slated for release, which will also signal the restocking of the well-liked PlayStation 5. According to the report, PlayStation enthusiasts all over the world are getting ready for an update as Sony's second-generation virtual reality headset, the PSVR2, is about to launch. We are still seeing the effects of the low stock two years after the PS5's release. Fortunately, Sony is replenishing the console in select regions this month in an effort to alleviate this issue. However, some PlayStation fans might be considering buying the PSVR2, the next-generation VR headset, even as they get ready to buy the console. According to a report, Sony reduced the manufacturing target for the first quarter to 1 million units due to insufficient demand and the headset's higher price than the normal PS5. A few things, like the scarcity of VR games and the high cost, may be to blame for the poor demand. Sony has increased the number of VR-compatible games now available from 30 to a total of 13, in an effort to persuade consumers to buy the headgear. Purchase the PlayStation VR2 headset and related items in advance. Sony is currently making every effort to add 13 more supported games to their catalog of VR games. Additionally, customers can pre-order the headset on the PlayStation website or a limited number of retail locations if they wish to do so. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle and two controllers will also be included with the headset. Overall, Sony may boost VR demand by giving potential customers discounts or, better yet, by integrating the VR headset with the PlayStation 5 given that pre-orders for the PSVR2 began back in November and the headset will officially ship on February 22. The lack of demand could be attributed to the expensive headset and the scarcity of games. However, Sony is betting that the PS5's replenishment and the assurance of additional titles would persuade more consumers to buy the PSVR2 headset. https://www.gadgetany.com/news/in-2023-sony-plans-to-produce-2-million-playstation-vr2-headsets/ Fans may soon be just as thrilled about the VR headset as they are about the system according to Sony's "Live From PS5" advertising campaign, which features popular video game characters coming to life.
