Ashton Kutcher revealed he felt like a "failure" after his divorce from Demi Moore

Ashton Kutcher reflected back on the conflicted emotions he experienced after his divorce from Demi Moore. The Your Place or Mine actor, 44, recounts his feelings of "failure" after splitting from Moore, 60, in 2011 after eight years total together with six years of marriage, in a new digital cover interview for Esquire. (The two divorced in 2013). According to Kutcher, "Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce. Divorce feels like a wholesale f---ing failure. You failed at marriage." Additionally, talking about the time when their relationship was made public in 2003, he said, "The moment that information broke, my life changed." However, Kutcher conceded that "It's stupid to complain about things that you're contributing to," in reference to his own participation in the social media whirlwind that was his relationship with Moore. In addition, he recalled being 26 years old and "bearing the responsibility of an 8-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a 12-year-old"—a reference to Moore's now-grown-up three daughters, Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis. Ashton Kutcher, who has two kids with his now-wife Mila Kunis, also opened up about Demi Moore's late-term pregnancy loss while they were dating before facing even more difficulties trying to conceive a child together, such as in vitro fertilization.
