According to a reliable source, this is only the second time the price of the Samsung Odyssey Ark has fallen below US $2,000, at least on Amazon. The remaining US$1,000 can be used to purchase a top-tier graphics card, which will most likely be needed to drive its 1,000 R curved 4K (3,840 x 2,160) 165 Hz mini-LED panel.
Additional features of the Samsung Odyssey Ark include HDR10+, a maximum brightness of 600 nits, a pixel response time of 1 ms, a 60 Watt speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, Nvidia G-Sync/AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and a full USB hub. Even better, Samsung included an external “Ark Dial” so that gamers may adjust the monitor without having to use the awkward OSD controls.
