Two gang members were detained on Friday, one after a gunfight, in connection with the January killings of six people, including a baby, at a residence in Goshen, California. Noah David Beard, 25, was brought into jail after being arrested without incident, according to a statement from sheriff Mike Boudreaux. Additionally, after firing at law officers, who responded by firing back and wounding Angel "Nanu" Uriarte, 35, in the torso, he was injured. He underwent surgery, is in good health, and is anticipated to live. Furthermore, Boudreaux expressed, "I'm happy we were able to put these two men behind bars," at a press conference on Friday.

Details about the case

Deputies were called to the Goshen residence early on January 16 in response to a complaint reporting multiple shots fired. According to Boudreaux, in a previous press conference, "Actually, they believed there was an active shooter in the area because of the number of rounds being fired." Furthermore, when they arrived, the police saw two victims already dead in the street, a third in the doorway, and the remaining victims inside and outside the house. Eladio Parraz, 52, Marcos Parraz, 19, Jennifer Analla, 49, Rosa Parraz, 72, Alissa Parraz, 16, and her 10-month-old son, Nycholas, were the victims, according to the sheriff's office. Moreover, six counts of murder and additional offenses were brought against both defendants by the Tulare County District Attorney's Office. Lastly, according to the prosecution, they might get either the death penalty or a life term without the possibility of parole.
