SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has acknowledged that China does not show any interest in selling his Starlink service across the country. In an interview with The Financial Times (FT), the tech boss stated that Beijing had disapproved of the prospective availability of his satellite internet. Musk has witnessed a big expansion of his satellite internet in numerous countries this year. However, while he looks forward to reaching a broader market, he is hampered by the decisions enforced by the Chinese government. According to the tycoon, Beijing expressed objection to SpaceX's distribution of Starlink in Ukraine. The move took place during the ongoing confrontation of the latter with Russia. The South African entrepreneur claimed that Beijing has clearly assured that China won't allow the selling of its satellite internet services in the country. "Musk claims Beijing has made explicit its disapproval of his recent installation of Starlink, SpaceX's satellite communications system, in Ukraine to help the military evade Russia's cut-off of the internet," FT noted in its "Lunch with the FT" column last week. In another report by CNBC, the FT did not specify Musk's viewpoint if he agrees or not with the decision of the Chinese government. Starlink Internet Service in Iran Aside from the continuous tension between Ukraine and Russia, there's another confrontation that is growing in Iran. Iran wishes to stress that the US should not meddle in giving internet service to the public. The country slapped sanctions on America, although the US Treasury Department continues to support Iranians in accessing the internet. However, Musk wants to deliver what's best for Iranians despite the restrictions from the government. With the protests all happening at once, several residents turned their fight to social media. Elon instantly spotted their worries online and promised that he would search for solutions to this issue. Additionally, he added that he would think of some ways to avoid the constraints and get proper clearance to run his Starlink internet satellite business in Iran.
