Benji Madden paid a sweet tribute to Cameron Diaz on their 8th wedding anniversary

Benji Madden isn't hesitant to get mushy when talking about his affection for Cameron Diaz. On Instagram, the lead guitarist of
Good Charlotte, 43, paid a special homage to the actress, 50, and their 3-year-old daughter Raddix in honor of their eighth wedding anniversary.
Madden wrote, "In Love, Inspired, Happy and Grateful. Eight years married, side by side, and now a little one for us to guide, let's do 80 more and then forever. happy anniversary 1*5* @camerondiaz my [red heart, fire, rose, world emojis]."
Additionally, in the post, there is a hand-drawn vase with two roses, flowers, and his initials in the corner. And on the left of the illustration, there is a ship and a sunset.

On another note, after starring in the 2014 adaptation of the classic musical
Annie, Diaz had retired from the public eye. And a year later, in 2015, she married Madden, and they welcomed their daughter Raddix in December 2019.
Furthermore, the
Charlie's Angels actress revealed during an appearance on Kevin Hart's Peacock talk program,
Hart to Heart, that she made the decision to take a hiatus after realizing around the age of 40 that there were "so many parts of my life ... that I wasn't touching" or "managing."

However, Cameron Diaz made the decision to return to acting last year, joining Jamie Foxx in the upcoming
Back in Action action comedy on Netflix. Following the announcement, she spoke candidly in an interview about her decision to resume acting after an eight-year break. The actress admitted that she had missed her profession during her time away.

"Making movies is a particular skill set that is fun to exercise and be a part of," said Diaz. "But yeah, it's a different lifestyle. And you kind of have to be ready to do that."
Moreover, Diaz's return to acting also entails that she needs to seek a balance as a working mom, which she said she is ready to tackle.
She stated, "Everybody only has 100 percent, and you always have to figure out how you're going to divide that 100 percent to spread it to all that parts of your life that matter."
Additionally, Diaz returned to acting thanks in part to her husband, Benji Madden. According to a source, the four-time Golden Globe contender "was ready to act again. She just needed a push. Benji has always been very supportive of Cameron in what she wants to do, especially in her career."
