BenQ W1130X Projector: 2,300 Lumen, 1080p, 120 Hz Refresh Rate & more

In China, BenQ has made available its W1130X 1080p projector. The device can project images up to 200-in (508 cm) in size with a brightness of up to 2,300 lumens and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The projector boasts two integrated 5 W Trevolo speakers and USB-A and HDMI connectors for connectivity.
In China, the BenQ W1130X projector has arrived. The 1080p device boasts a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness output of up to 2,300 lumens. A 1.15 to 1.5 throw ratio allows the device to cast images that are 60 to 200 inches (152 to 508 cm) broad. The gadget can handle 16:9, 16:10, or 4:3 aspect ratios thanks to optical zoom capabilities. Additionally, the projector supports HDR, has a contrast ratio of 500,000:1, and covers 98% of the Rec.709 color gamut.

The W1130X includes a 4 LED light source that should last up to 30,000 hours and an all-glass lens. The BenQ device is powered by a 0.65-in DMD chip, features two integrated 5 W Trevolo speakers, and has a maximum output noise level of 28 dBa. The image must be manually focused, and there is no automatic obstacle avoidance like in previous models.

There are numerous connectors available for connecting to the projector, including HDMI, USB-A, and an audio jack. Gamers should be aware that the projector has an input lag of 8.3 ms and a resolution of 1080p @ 120 Hz. The device weighs 5.5 kg (12.1 lbs), measures 366 x 244 x 118 mm (14.4 x 9.6 x 4.6 in), and has a remote control. The BenQ W1130X projector is now available in China for the discounted price of 6,999 yuan (about US$985); the item's list price is unknown.
