It seems as though ARMY hasn't had a moment to relax since BTS declared it was beginning a new chapter as a group, one that saw them exploring more independent projects while staying a team, the latest being the designation of two of them as official brand ambassadors of global fashion houses.
The official single for the 2022 World Cup by Jung Kook; RM's solo album; J-Hope's solo album, which was followed by his headline performance at Lollapalooza; Jin's collaboration with Coldplay, which he did before reporting for his mandatory military service. And not to mention all the certified hits they've had between now and then with other artists, and the World Expo concert in Busan when "Run BTS" made its debut.

Furthermore, the members - RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), and Jung Kook (Jeon Jungkook) have also been strengthening their individual relationships with international fashion houses during this time, which led to the designation of two of them as official brand ambassadors in January.
On January 16, Dior announced that Jimin had been appointed as a global ambassador. His first work in the position was a
W Korea cover that had just been published the week before and featured looks by Kim Jones.
The brand stated in a statement, "This special bond seals, more than ever, his friendship with the house and Kim Jones, who had designed, in 2019, the stage outfits of his band BTS. The South Korean artist now embodies the spirit and singularity of Dior style, modernity with a timeless signature."

Then, on Jan. 17, Valentino revealed that it had signed Suga as a brand ambassador as part of its "quest of [pursuing] authenticity and individuality, by scouting personas, who embody the Maison values." Additionally, this announcement came a few days after it was revealed Suga would star in a new Essentials campaign for the house in
GQ (and wore a head-to-toe look from the label courtside at a Lakers game in LA).
Suga, according to a statement from the brand, "is a contemporary DI.VAs. DI.VAs is a wordplay, an acronym denoting Different Values. The Valentino DI.VAs are multifaceted character of codes, upheld by inner values. Empathetic, intelligent, and romantic. For Pierpaolo Piccioli, DI.VAs is the essence of authenticity, progressive ideals, and diversity that lead to change and convey the value of the Maison."
