Celine Dion cancels many concerts, including Malta's as she fights health issues

Celine Dion has canceled a number of shows in a some of nations as she battles health issues. One such performance was scheduled to take place in Malta on June 6. The shows were a part of Dion's World Tour of Courage. Her management team made the following announcements: eight shows in the summer of 2023, including Malta, will not be performed; 23 European Courage World Tour shows scheduled for February through April 2023 will be moved to the spring of 2024; and 23 concerts will be cancelled. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dion had finished the first 52 North American gigs of the Courage World Tour before pausing it in March 2020. Since then, she has received treatment for her severe and ongoing muscle spasms, which have kept her from performing.
