Channing Tatum Says He And 'Magic Mike 3' Co-star Salma Hayek 'Are Besties'

Channing Tatum and Salma Hayek get along like two peas in a pod. In the eagerly awaited third installation of the Magic Mike trilogy, Magic Mike's Last Dance, Tatum, 42, reprises his role as a stripper alongside Academy Award nominee Hayek, 56. And both on and off the screen, the two were a good fit. Additionally, on the crowded red carpet before the film's Wednesday premiere at the Regal South Beach in Miami, Tatum, dressed in an all-black suit and matching T-shirt, told PEOPLE of his relationship with Hayek, "I have emotions in the film, and Salma and I talk about everything." He continued, "We are besties." Additionally, the third film was made with the intention of starring the best dancers in the world and featuring a strong female protagonist who would be just as crucial to the narrative as Tatum's character Mike Lane.
