Sometimes on business calls, you simply have to stand up and circle the room. Wireless earphones or headsets can be useful in this situation, and Anker's new wireless microphone takes things a step further. Anker currently offers a number of work-related items under the "AnkerWork" name, and the business has unveiled the AnkerWork M650 wireless microphone as a new addition. It's a kit with two microphones that are generally made to be used with two persons simultaneously (like during interviews), but it can also be used as a single microphone with the USB-C or Lightning receiver that's included. As an alternative to lapel mics, which often have a cord flowing down to a transmitter, Anker is positioning it. The tiny transmitter features a small touch screen for checking the audio and battery levels as well as internal storage for up to seven hours of audio recording from both microphones concurrently. Anker promises that it will take 90 minutes to fully charge a dead battery. Although it is expensive, the totally wireless label microphones it fills are a market niche with few other suppliers.
