After starting to be delivered in North America, the Tesla Semi Truck electric vehicle (EV) is possibly getting ready to hit the highways of Canada. The all-electric truck may soon become available in Canada now that it is available in the United States. It appears that the large EV manufacturer is aiming to export its large vehicle to another country in North America. The Elon Musk-owned manufacturer may soon export its new Semi electric vehicle to Canada, according to the most recent report. Although the EV manufacturer hasn't officially announced the expansion, its suggestions strongly imply it. According to reports, Tesla has already filed their proposal in time for the Canadian government's federal budget for the following year or in 2023. The EV manufacturer appears to be supporting improved infrastructure to increase the nation's sales of electric vehicles. Musk Claims That Tesla’s $50 Billion Compensation Package Is Reasonable The official letter from the Musk-owned company to Chrystia Freeland, Canada's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, makes mention of the Semi's impending arrival. Notably, the letter makes no mention of the fact that the electric truck has already arrived. However, it strongly implies that the EV manufacturer is preparing for that. The letter's main concern is Canada's infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. But in its plan, it also made reference to "medium and heavy-duty transportation fleets." According to the report, "sufficient charging infrastructure must be available to serve short and long-haul transportation routes from coast to coast in order to sustainably support rising demand for electric medium and heavy-duty transportation fleets." The enormous automaker emphasises that, in order to further increase demand for vehicles like the Tesla Semi, help from the government is required. The electric truck might perhaps be introduced to Canadian roadways if infrastructure issues have been resolved.
