Do Background Apps Makes iPhone Fast, Or Should We Close them?

Like all of us, our parents have also started to depend on the iPhone for information and entertainment but need to be aware of the whole system and, most often, ask us for help.
But in one case, our parents are more updated than us, keeping the apps open.
Is it true that all of us believe and follow the rule of closing apps as and when we are done to save the battery?
Yes, we do.
It is the other way around.
Will we believe it if TikToker carterpcs tells us not to close the apps when we are done?
Surprisingly, he is right!
It is a misconception that closing apps will make your iPhone run faster and consume less battery.
Does closing background apps in iPhones makes them faster?
Apple allows you to stay ignorant by not letting you know that it is not required to close the apps while you set up the iPhone. Closing the apps makes the iPhone less efficient. Once the app is closed, iOS uses more battery and processing power to restart the app from scratch.
If the app is untouched, it remains in the background, suspended, or ready to use. It means that the app is partially shut down or open. Multitasking in Apple gives the best results when left undisturbed.
What happens when you keep apps in background?
To give room to other apps and tasks, the iPhone dangles unused apps without us having to do anything. Generally, you can open the apps easily; sometimes, a little refreshing is enough. This process is more effective than closing every time as it is easier for you, the battery, and the processor.
The balancing act is the key. The iPhone keeps the apps open only, which it can hold and will suspend the tricky ones, and it knows how to do it better than we do. Letting Apple handle this system is the best option. We close the app and not suspend it, so keeping away from doing this is a better way to take care of the iPhone.
What if it doesn't works?
But the above statements do not necessarily mean we should avoid closing the apps altogether. We will need to swipe on an app when it does not respond or acts weird. If you cannot see new posts on social media like FB or WA, you will have to close the app and restart it forcefully.
Let it be if you are okay with the apps. Cleaning an iPhone soothes our soul and looks appealing but does not improve the iPhone’s life. Do not close the apps if you wish to have a long-lasting iPhone battery with speed.
