Does Chatgpt Challenge Google? It’s Complicated

A rival to OpenAI's newly published and contentious ChatGPT, Google intends to build a new AI feature for their search engine. The business made this announcement following a recent Google executive conference that included people like its CEO Sundar Pichai and its head of artificial intelligence, Jeff Dean, and discussed the technology that the internet company already has and is shortly to be developed. Although the Mountain View company already had a similar technology on hand, employees were worried that it was falling behind current AI trends, such as OpenAI. The internet firm wants to proceed cautiously since it does not want to promote a technology that can damage its reputation because to the numerous implications of AI's hazards. However, CEO Sundar Pichai asserted that new AI products would be available by 2023. According to reports, Google executives believed that 2023 will "mark a point of inflection" in how people will use AI for conversations and searches. Google would focus on being brave and responsible in its development of AI. Since Google already has this technology to compete with OpenAI, some employees believe the business "lost a chance" to compete with ChatGPT. Google has a number of key projects that focus on innovation and advancement as a step towards artificial intelligence, even though the business may not yet deliver its projects at the level of chatbots. A Google AI Chatbot is now available for public beta testing, and the business recently invited interested parties to participate via its AI Test Kitchen platform.
