Snapchat is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, with billions of downloads and nearly 350 million active daily users across iOS and Android. Because of its rich features and filters, it has managed to remain relevant despite competitors such as Instagram. However, the app does not always function properly. You might miss out on messages and snaps from friends and family. And, to avoid situations like this, employ the techniques listed below.  Snapchat Game Snapchat Outage - If Snapchat isn't working, the first place to look is Twitter. Check the Snapchat Support and Snapchat Twitter pages for official outage reports. Although Snap is usually very prompt in posting outage updates, there may be a delay of an hour or two. If you do not use Twitter, go to Down detector's official website and search Snapchat to see if it is down or not. There isn't much you can do until Snap restores service; if there isn't a report, the steps below will help you troubleshoot further. Try Restarting - Having trouble opening Snapchat from the Recents menu? To fix this, completely close Snapchat and reopen it. Open the Recents menu by using the swipe-up gesture from the bottom (those using navigation buttons can tap on the Overview button). Swipe up to close the Snapchat app. Check to see if Snapchat is working. Check Snapchat App Permission - To function properly, Snapchat requires camera, contact, photo, location, and microphone permissions. You will have a broken app experience if you deny such permissions. On Android, enable the necessary app permissions. Snapchat Game Force Stop Snapchat - When an app on Android misbehaves, you can force it to stop and suspend all activities. Let's give Snapchat a shot.
  • Long-press on the Snapchat app icon to open it. Tap the small “i” button.
  • Open the app information menu.
  • Choose Force stop.
Clear Snapchat Cache - In the background, mobile apps collect cache to improve loading times and perform frequent tasks faster. Corrupt cache data can occasionally cause Snapchat issues. Here's how to clear the cache.
  • Open the Snapchat app's information menu (refer to the steps in the previous section).
  • Proceed to Storage (Storage and cache in stock Android phones.)
  • Choose Clear cache from the menu that appears.
  • iOS users can clear the Snapchat cache by following the steps below.
  • On your iPhone, launch Snapchat.
  • In the top left corner, click on your profile picture.
  • Tap the gear icon to access Snapchat settings.
  • Navigate to Account Actions.
Choose Clear Cache and confirm your choice. Check Your Internet Connection - Last but not least, Snapchat requires an active internet connection to load your friends' sizzling snaps.
