Drew Barrymore channeled the title character from M3GAN, the recently released smash movie starring Allison Williams about a life-size robotic doll equipped with A.I. who becomes murderous, on Tuesday.
M3GAN, played by 12-year-old actress Amie Donald, performs a series of insane dance routines inside an office building as she closes in on one would-be victim in one scene near the climax of the Gerard Johnstone-directed movie. In addition, even before the movie opened in theatres earlier this month, the clip from the trailer went viral.
"M3GAN?" Barrymore's co-host Ross Mathews poses the question at the beginning of the video, imitating the doll's owner Cady (Williams' character Gemma's niece, played by 11-year-old Violet McGraw), before the actress, 47, starts imitating M3GAN's dance moves.
Furthermore, Barrymore even sports M3GAN's long, wavy blonde hair and is wearing the doll's trademark ensemble, which includes a tan dress over a striped long-sleeve blouse, a red and white scarf tied in a bow, white tights, and black Mary Jane shoes.
The caption of the video read: "M3GAN has taken over The Drew Barrymore Show!"

Additional details
In addition to dominating the box office, with a domestic opening weekend take of $30.4 million, the movie also went popular on social media, with posts with the hashtag #M3GAN receiving 300 million views on TikTok just one month after the trailer's debut. Also, since its Jan. 6 premiere, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse's campy thriller has generated close to $125 million globally.
Following the tremendous success of its first part, numerous sites last week reported that a sequel to the movie that centered on the lethal artificial intelligent doll with the same name (short for Model 3 Generative Android) had been confirmed.
