Drop in iPhone 14 Plus sales could cause Apple reduce iPhone 15 Plus price

Apple allegedly had to shift production resources to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max as a result of non-Pro iPhone 14 models, particularly the iPhone 14 Plus, not performing as well as the firm would have wanted. According to reports, the business is coming up with a strategy to secure improved iPhone 15 sales. Since the new front design and 48MP front camera are only available on the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro models, Apple strayed from its customary practice of outfitting the whole iPhone lineup with its newest smartphone CPU. It's understandable that not many people wanted to purchase the two regular models in the lineup—the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus, which replaced the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini—especially given that they were priced the same as last year. According to Naver leaker Yeux1122, who has a chequered past, Apple is exploring a couple of improvements to make things better next year. Second, Apple might also change the price. An earlier rumour said that Apple would raise the price of the most expensive model, which is rumoured to be called the iPhone 15 Ultra rather than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple may use an aggressive price strategy for the iPhone 15 series, according to Yeux1122. The Plus, which starts at $899, and the Pro, which starts at $999, are likely to be priced differently by the corporation. Last but not least, today's rumour suggests that suppliers have confirmed that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra would have different materials and cameras, supporting speculations that Apple is striving for further differentiation between the higher-end models. This is consistent with rumours that the iPhone 15 Ultra would include a titanium body and a brand-new periscope zoom camera. In other words, Apple wants the iPhone 15 portfolio to include separate consumer group-targeted models that stand out from one another. The iPhone 15 may have rounded edges, though one rumour disputes this, solid-state buttons, a USB connector, and the iPhone 15 Pro and Ultra may use a new Sony sensor, according to earlier sources.
