The electric truck maker Nicola on Thursday presented its third quarter with $24.2 million in revenue which is not good as the company’s market cap is 1.3 billion, which was more than what was expected.
The company had initially aimed at delivering 300 trucks by this year's end but has only delivered 111 electric Tre trucks until now. The company was hoping to cash in on the motor market shift to electric truck management in an attempt to reduce the cost of ownership and achieve the objective of sustainability.

The company’s executives stated to the analysts in a conference call that they will not be providing fourth-year and complete-year forecasts after the third quarterly result update. The startup knows that it will not do well as the year is almost coming to end in the fourth quarter. It does not give out a good impression when you give out unmeetable forecasts and do not live up to them.
Nikola seems to be understanding that forecasting is futile and instead presents the product and shows what they are capable of rather than predicting unattainable numbers.
