According to Elon Musk, there is a sizable finance Twitter community with millions of users and it is still expanding, thus Twitter should incorporate stock tickers into tweets. Elon Musk has been interacting with Twitter users to solicit advice on how specific issues should be resolved. Since Elon Musk completed his $44 billion purchase of Twitter in October, as reported by The New York Times, the new CEO has been soliciting feedback from users on the additions they believe the social media site should make. According to a Forbes report, Musk has been paying attention to his Twitter followers and even conducted a poll on the reinstatement of Donald Trump in which the general population decided that Trump should be let to return. Musk "agreed" that stock tickers should be included in tweets from Twitter. Musk was questioned about whether Twitter will integrate stock tickers into tweets in a tweet by The Kobeissi Letter.  The suggestion highlighted how the finance Twitter community already has millions of users and is still expanding while also mentioning the potential for live tickers. Musk only had one word to say in response: "agreed." As shown in articles like The Wall Street Journal where a stock ticker with its% change is shown in real-time, should this feature become a reality, it might be able to show the public a stock's performance in real-time. When the group is constructing a new feature, Musk frequently confirms it. Musk says that Twitter will provide "view counts" for each tweet. Are these counts as significant as replies, likes, and retweets? Previous confirmations from the Twitter CEO included the statement that it was on a to-do list.
