Elon Musk breaks a Guinness World Record in 2022 while suffering a $100 billion loss

Elon Musk apparently had a $100 billion decline in his personal wealth last year, or in 2022 to be more precise, shattering a previous Guinness World Record. Musk now owns the record for the "biggest loss of personal riches in history," according to Guinness World Records. According to a Business Insider story, Musk set a brand-new record. However, after losing billions of dollars the previous year, he establishes a new Guinness World Record rather than reaching a milestone he could be proud of. The record for "biggest loss of personal fortune" is now held by the tech billionaire. Musk "has now shattered the world record for the biggest loss of personal riches in history," according to Guinness World Records. According to Guinness, the losses of the Tesla CEO appear to have greatly eclipsed those of the Japanese IT entrepreneur Masayoshi Son in the past. When compared to its peak of $320 billion in 2021, it has significantly decreased. The American-African businessman not only broke a world record but also lost the title of "wealthiest man."
