Emily Ratajkowski reveals she’s ‘newly single’ as dating rumors with Brad Pitt surface

In response to speculations that she is dating actor Brad Pitt, Emily Ratajkowski made it clear that she is still single. In an interview with Variety that was published on Wednesday, the model, 31, spoke about her breakup with Sebastian Bear-McClard and said she is still working on "letting go." The author of "My Body" told the publication, "I'm basically newly single for the first time in my life, and I just feel like I'm sort of enjoying the freedom of not being really worried about how I'm being viewed. “One of the things I write about in the last essay of [“My Body”] is about control and kind of understanding that one of the best ways to actually be happy and have some semblance of control is letting go,” she continued. Despite the fact that Ratajkowski hasn't commented on the allegations that she's been hanging out with the 58-year-old actor, sources tell that the two are keeping their relationship under wraps because of his bitter custody dispute with Angelina Jolie. “Brad has quietly dated the last couple of years. He worries that [Angelina] Jolie will badmouth him to their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend,” an insider told us last month. Despite the fact that the two A-list actors' divorce has been finalized since their 2016 breakup, they are still at odds over who will get custody of their children, are involved in a $250 million lawsuit regarding their French winery and are being accused of domestic abuse. Pitt and Jolie have six kids together: Vivienne and Knox, 14, Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, and Shiloh, 16.
