Please give Eminem your full attention. According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Grammy-winning musician last week filed an opposition against
Real Housewives of Potomac stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon's trademark application for the name of their podcast
Reasonably Shady.
According to the documents, the 50-year-old rapper stated that he thought the trademark would hurt his reputation and confuse fans who were familiar with him under the names Slim Shady and Shady. Additionally, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) claimed he has exclusively used the terms "Shady" and "Slim Shady" since 1996. He also owns the trademark to be used on his records and merchandise.
The document read, "The marks Slim Shady and Shady have become and are an extremely valuable symbol of Mathers, his reputation, and goodwill."

"So I'm probably not supposed to actually be here tonight because of a couple of reasons. One of them that I'm a rapper, and this is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And there's only a few of us right now that have been inducted in already, but there's only a few of us," Eminem stated.
He went on, "Secondly, I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of sucked. Hailie, plug your ears: because drugs were f---ing delicious, and I thought we had a good thing going man, but I had to go and f--- it all up and take too many. God damn. OK Hailie."

On another note, 50 Cent, a close friend and frequent collaborator of Eminem, recently disclosed that they are developing an
8 Mile TV series. During a guest appearance on the
BigBoyTV YouTube channel, the rapper, age 47, made the statement: "It's gonna be big. I'm working. I ain't got no duds. I'm batting 100. I think it should be there for his legacy because it's important to me that they understand it."
The idea, according to the rapper, will reveal Eminem's youth and give the movie a "backstory." He also indicated a desire for the show to introduce a new audience to Eminem's story.
