Users of the RealityScan software can use the cameras on their mobile devices to turn tangible objects into stunning 3D representations. Using your iPhone, the new RealityScan app from Epic Games turns real-world photos into 3D models. According to the most recent news report, Epic Games has released its brand-new RealityScan iOS software to the Apple App Store, making it available for download by iPhone users. All consumers need to do is use the cameras on their cellphones to scan a physical thing. The new iOS software then completes all the work necessary to convert it to a 3D model. The RealityScan software allows you to easily convert photographs into high-fidelity 3D objects. It's important to remember that the video game juggernaut previously acquired Capturing Reality, a company that specializes in developing photogrammetry apps. In actuality, it already offers desktop software that functions quite similarly. RealityScan - 3D Scanning App But this time, mobile phone users can access RealityScan. It's all made feasible, according to a recent Venture Beat piece, by the cloud processing that the software makes use of.  Therefore, the free app converts any 2D photo into a spectacular 3D model without requiring users to possess advanced skills. Users must sign up for an Epic Games account or log in after downloading the app. Once everything is set up, they may begin capturing at least 20 pictures of the actual object that will be transformed into a 3D model. To assist the program in converting the object from 2D images, the many shots must capture all angles of the object. However, according to reports, the program seems to function better with larger things. Additionally, check out Epic Games' Free Titles This December, Which INCLUDE a Popular Star Wars Game.

What Do Android Users Think?

Earlier this year, Epic promised Android customers that the RealityScan app would be released on the Google Play Store. The software has yet to be made available to Android users, even though its restricted test period has come to an end. To be fair, however, 2022 still has a few days left before its curtain call. Therefore, it might still be accessible in the upcoming weeks.
