The biggest night in music is soon to arrive, and these performers are prepared. The 2023 Grammy Awards will honor music on February 5th, but for many of the world's best-selling artists, Sunday is the icing on the already thrilling year.
Here's a look back at some of the 2022 performances by this year's nominees, from Harry Styles selling out 15 nights at Madison Square Garden to Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar performing together at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Harry Styles sold out 15 nights at Madison Square Garden
Harry Styles, 29, is nominated for six Grammys in 2023, and will also perform at the ceremony, thanks to a successful year that saw him win several honors. Styles sold out a 15-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City during the summer, transforming the arena into "Harry's House" each night as a reference to his most recent album.

Beyoncé performing in Dubai
Beyoncé returned to the stage in a huge way after being absent for almost four years. She gave an hour-long performance at the brand-new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai on January 21. The 28-time Grammy winner took the audience through her long discography at the event and is up for nine more awards at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Lizzo's performance on President James Madison's Crystal Flute
On September 7, while doing a performance at the Capitol One arena in Washington, D.C., Lizzo added a non-presidential item to her setlist. She performed a few notes on a 220-year-old crystal flute that once belonged to former President James Madison during her performance in the nation's capital. Additionally, the singer, who is scheduled to perform and is up for five prizes at this year's Grammy's received the flute on loan from the Library of Congress, tweeting that she was "the first and only person to play this presidential crystal flute."
Adele in Hyde Park
Adele gave her first significant performance of 2022 on July 2 at the British Summer Time Hyde Park concert in front of 65,000 fans. She hadn't performed in front of an audience in five years until the show. Furthermore, the 15-time Grammy winner is up seven more awards at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Lastly, the singer began her
Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace later in 2022.

Bad Bunny performed at a Gas Station in Puerto Rico
Bad Bunny gave his fans a surprise concert right before 2022 came to a close, leaving them with memories they won't soon forget. On December 22, the musician conducted an impromptu free concert atop a local gas station after distributing more than 25,000 gifts to admirers of all ages during his Good Bunny Foundation's Bonita Tradición gift drive at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente Walker in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Moreover, the Grammy winner, 28, who will also perform at the 2023 Grammy Awards, is up for three awards this year.
Taylor Swift at Tribeca Film Festival
Taylor Swift presented a screening of her short film
All Too Well: The Short Film at the Beacon Theater in June, as part of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. She also pleasantly shocked the crowd by performing the song "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film)" live.
Moreover, at this year's Grammys, the track is nominated for song of the year, and its accompanying visual work,
All Too Well: The Short Film, is nominated for the music video of the year. Swift is also up for two more Grammys this year.
Jack Harlow's performance at the 2022 VMAs
Jack Harlow opened the 2022 VMAs in a manner that can only be characterized as "fergalicious" with his performance of "First Class," which substantially samples the instrumental, chorus, and "If you ain't got no money, take yo' broke ass home" ad-lib from Fergie's 2006 single "Glamorous." In addition, Fergie joined Harlow, who is up for three Grammys this year, on stage at the show.

Brandi Carlile at the Newport Folk Festival
Brandi Carlile was instrumental in persuading the iconic singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell to perform again after more than 20 years. Mitchell made a surprise appearance on stage at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival alongside Carlile, who is up for seven Grammy awards this year, Wynonna Judd, Allison Russell, and Marcus Mumford.

Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl Halftime Show
The Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2022 featured performances by nine-time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige and 14-time Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, this event was one of the most talked-about events of the year. The show consisted of an amazing set that included songs by Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Dr. Dre, who was headlining the performance.
Furthermore, Blige, who will perform at the 2023 Grammy Awards, is up for six prizes this year. And Lamar, a Pulitzer Prize winner, is nominated for eight.
Coldplay's performance at Metlife Stadium
This summer, Coldplay's Music of the Spheres world tour included a stop in New Jersey, where the Garden State's pride and joy joined them onstage. The British rockers, who are up for three awards this year, shocked the audience at MetLife Stadium by inviting Bruce Springsteen to perform.
