Across Europe, including the Netherlands and France, Eve has released the MotionBlinds Upgrade Kit for Roller Blinds. The device can turn the current blinds in your home into smart ones that work with Apple HomeKit. With the new blinds, you can use Siri voice commands to operate them or create schedules to open and close them at particular times.
The EU now offers the Eve MotionBlinds Upgrade Kit for Roller Blinds. The brand-new item, a winner of the CES 2023 Innovation Awards, allows you to upgrade your standard blinds to intelligent ones. As the Eve Upgrade Kit works with Apple HomeKit, you may use Siri or the Apple Home app to operate the blinds. This indicates that you can use your smartphone to tweak the device whether you’re at home or out and about.

As an alternative, you may program the Eve smart roller blinds to move the blind at different times throughout the day. You may create scenes to simultaneously trigger several smart home items using Bluetooth and Thread connectivity. A “good night” voice command, for instance, may close the curtains and switch off any connected smart lights. You must replace the present mechanism in your blind and slide a motor inside the tube in order to install the smart blind conversion kit.
The device can be used with a tube outer that is at least 26.75 inches (680 mm) long and 1.5 to 2 inches (38 to 51 mm) in diameter. Mounting brackets also need to be replaced. A built-in battery powers the device, and you can recharge it using USB-C. At €199.95 (about $213), you can get the Eve MotionBlinds Upgrade Kit for Roller Blinds in nations including the Netherlands, Sweden, and France. On March 28, the device will go on sale in the US for $199.95.
