Ezra Miller has returned to Los Angeles after entering a guilty plea to a misdemeanor offense in exchange for the prosecution dropping two other charges, including felony burglary. Additionally, Miller, 30, was seen arriving at the Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, three days after the actor and their attorney appeared at a hearing at Vermont's Bennington County Superior Court, where Judge Kerry Ann McDonald-Cady reviewed the conditions of the change-of-plea agreement and sentencing.
Furthermore, Miller chose to enter a guilty plea to misdemeanor unlawful trespass rather than proceed to a jury trial, acknowledging that they had been on the victim's property in Stamford, Vermont, on May 1, 2022, without the owner's consent. In addition, if the year-long probation is not broken, the felony burglary and petit larceny charges are dropped without prejudice. (Miller was being investigated for allegedly stealing alcohol from a man's Stamford house. In October, the actor filed a not-guilty plea to the criminal charges.)

Moreover, Miller, who uses the pronouns they/them, told the court that they are confident they can adhere to the terms of the one-year probation, which include refraining from contact with the victims, continuing mental health treatment, undergoing random alcohol testing, not being found guilty of a crime, and more.

The prosecutor claimed the agreement "has the benefit of ensuring the compliance with the conditions, which protect the victim, but it also allows the defendant to continue their employment as well as continue the mental health treatment. So, given all that, the victim is in support of the agreement."
More details
Ezra Miller denied having been promised anything, coerced, or threatened into accepting the plea agreement when the judge questioned them about it. Miller also affirmed that they weren't under the influence of anything that would have affected their judgment, such as drink or drugs.
According to the judge, the agreement strikes an "equal balance between rehabilitation and punishment" and is "very sound."

The actor, who plays Barry Allen in the upcoming
The Flash movie, set for release in theatres on June 16, issued a statement in August last year apologizing and stating they were getting therapy for mental health issues after months of concerning behavior and other arrests.
