According to a patent discovered by Oddo BHF analysts, Ferrari NV intends to give its electric supercar vehicles a true engine sound.
The Italian manufacturer might add its own engine noise to the sound of the vehicle's linked electric motors to intensify it.
The Ferrari patent features a "reproduction device for the realization of a sound that can be coupled with an electric motor," according to a Bloomberg report from January 24.
According to reports, the function might enable the business to include a more recognizable noise engine that will produce before the car reroutes. The "roar" will leave the vehicle through the trunk.
Speaking of supercars, the same rumor states that Ferrari is about to start producing these vehicles in 2025.

It should be remembered that Chief Executive Officer Benedettor Vigna alluded to the idea of turning up the engine loudness for Ferrari supercars back in June 2022 during the company's capital markets day.

One of the "essentials that identify a Ferrari," in his opinion, is the future feature. Vigna continues, "Ferrari needs to release its own take on the engine sounds since the current supercars used to flaunt their own "signature" roar."
Many luxury car manufacturers are currently following the market and producing their own electric vehicles.
Since so many individuals are currently deeply invested in EVs, automakers should be creative in how they communicate what's new and reasonably priced to the general public.
Ferrari may have understood that now is the ideal time to enter the market with a "compelling and inventive EV product" that will take hold in 2025.

In its analysis, Oddo claims that Ferrari's "successful sound-reproducing technology" may "partially compensate" for the loss of engine sound.
China Proclaims Fast Electric Vehicles Supercar Supercars are frequently produced in the Americas and Europe. However, some international brands are gradually catching up to the most well-known brand names in the sector. It comes as no surprise that a Chinese automaker, BYD, has a response for its international rival.
The YangWang U9 supercar, according to Carscoops, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just two seconds. The Aio Hyper SSr can be compared to it, however, it is still 0.1 seconds slower.
The power output of the aforementioned model has not yet been published by BYD, but according to reports, it could be fitted with "Yisifang" technology to compensate for its quad motor.
In China, the YangWang U9 will go on sale for more than $145,340. It costs less than the Hyper SSR, which starts at $186,870.
