The past several weeks have been great for Samsung. Several smartphones, including the Galaxy A52, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Fold 4, have received the One UI 5.0 beta update. The One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy Note 20 has now been released in more markets, according to the company.
The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in South Korea have received the first One UI 5.0 beta update from the South Korean company. However, the business has made available the second One UI 5.0 beta upgrade for the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US. In the US, the most recent One UI 5.0 beta upgrade uses firmware version ZVJ8.
Bug fixes predominate in the second One UI 5.0 beta update for the US Galaxy Note 20 series rather than new features. When using Full HD 60fps and 4K 60fps settings in the camera app's Pro mode, the new software corrects autofocus-related problems. Additionally, it resolves memory leak problems, UI sluggishness, and program crashes. When using the screen as the DeX Pad in Samsung DeX, the phone also experienced kernel panic issues. Additionally, the Google Discover feed on the leftmost panel on the home screen is deleted.
By going to Settings » Software update and selecting Get and install, you can download One UI 5.0 if you've registered your Galaxy Note 20 series device to beta-test it. Prior to releasing the stable version later in the year, Samsung may release two or three more beta releases.
