The Galaxy S23 FE is said to use Samsung's old Exynos 2200 chipset rather than a newer one, but it will have a better camera.
According to the source, the Galaxy S23 FE will be manufactured entirely with Samsung's Exynos 2200 chipset, which is also found in some Galaxy S22 variants released last year. Yes, the same chipset that felt like it belonged in a mid-range CPU was powering a flagship phone. Unfortunately, this will be the case for all phones sold worldwide, so you will not have access to any Qualcomm chipset this time around.
Now, it's unclear why Samsung chose a significantly older chipset, let alone the Exynos 2200. The company could have chosen the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the Galaxy S23 FE would have been a huge success, but clearly, the company had other plans.

However, not everything is doom and gloom. According to the source, the Galaxy S23 FE will have a 50-megapixel main rear camera rather than the 12-megapixel sensor that Samsung has been using for its Fan Edition phones. The phone will also be available in 6/128 or 8/256GB variants, with a 4,500 mAh battery and 25W fast charging. The model number of the phone will be SM-S-711x.
