Although the Galaxy S23 series is anticipated to launch in early February 2023, several of its specifications have already been revealed. It is widely believed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU will be standard across the board for Samsung Galaxy S23 series devices. Now, a report says what type of performance enhancement we may anticipate from Samsung's forthcoming smartphones for the first time. Ahmed Qwaider, a tipster, predicts that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 would perform noticeably better than its predecessors. According to reports, the forthcoming phones would have 36% faster CPU speed, 48% faster GPU, and 60% quicker NPU (Neural Processing Unit used for AI and ML acceleration). The devices should also have a better chipset cooling system for improved performance under heavy loads. According to earlier reports, Samsung and Qualcomm may have struck an agreement for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that has been overclocked. According to benchmark results, this specific processor variant has a 170MHz better CPU clock speed (for its Prime CPU core). It might have a GPU clocked at 719MHz. Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has quicker RAM (LPDDR5X) and storage (UFS 4.0), which should lead to a significant performance improvement. The Galaxy S23 series is anticipated to offer improved raw performance in addition to brighter screens (1,750 nits across the board), sharper colours outdoors, a better selfie camera (12MP Dual-Pixel AF), 8K 30fps video capture, and satellite connectivity. The batteries on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are slightly larger, at 3,900mAh and 4,700mAh, respectively.
