Reportedly, it is announced in the Call of Duty Next live stream that the much-anticipated battle royale sequel Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is set to release and has a new name too. Warzone 2.0 is set to launch on 16th November, some two weeks after Modern Warfare 2 on 28th October. The pair will share the same engine, a first for the Call of Duty franchise and one that should ensure uniformity and a more consistent feature set, making this a new dawn for the series. Announced during the COD Next Showcase Event, the trailer of Warzone 2.0 reveals that players will be able to stand on top of vehicles, deploy new equipment, and more. Moreover, the trailer also reveals a new third-person mode highlighted in third person-only playlists. Subsequently, new water physics was also highlighted in a panel following the trailer. The upgraded water will allow players to dive, swim and hide from enemies in maps featuring water. In addition, movement mechanics have also been updated, with new animation, diving, and other movement abilities added to the game. As per reports, the Warzone 2 map, Al Mazrah, features 18 points of interest (POI). Also, according to a new Try Hard Guides report written by industry insider Tom Henderson, who stated that to have received an updated image of the Warzone 2 map confirming its key areas. Additionally, Warzone 2.0 will make some crucial changes to the battle royale. For beginners, it'll introduce a new map of Al Mazrah, a mix of extensive desert, industrial areas, towns, and lots of water. Expect rocky peaks, underground caves, as well as enclosed corridors. However, some of the map's points of interest comprise a barrier, an observatory, an abandoned village, swamplands, an airport, and an empty metropolis.  More interestingly, rivers will connect all the major landmarks, with Warzone 2.0 inclined heavily into Call of Duty's new aquatic features. Also, vehicles are getting straightened up, and a new physics and handling model will mean they feel more authentic to drive and destroy.  Substantially, you'll be able to blow off tires to chase enemies, climb onto car roofs for a combat advantage, and lean out windows for extra firepower. But, unfortunately, tires must be repaired on the fly, and cars refueled if you want them to keep moving. Meanwhile, there was word on Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile, a new franchise that shares some features with its cheerful version, promises cross-path, and shared social features.  Moreover, it's being developed by a Squadron of Studios, including Beenox and Digital Legends, and is expected to release on iOS and Android next year. Similarly, as in the original Warzone, each seasonal update for Warzone 2.0 will be shared with the other Call of Duty titles, meaning many new features debuting in Modern Warfare 2 will also appear in the battle royale. Following that, significant changes, although not as big as the new third-person mode coming to Modern Warfare 2
