In order to focus on marketing other (and far more well-liked platforms), Google made the decision in September to discontinue its Stadia game streaming service. A function in
Google Search that might assist you in discovering games that are accessible through streaming services is currently being promoted by the business.
You may have noticed that when you search for movies or TV episodes, Google Search will show you links to platforms where you can watch them online, including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and others. The same is now being done by Google for video games; links to play games that are accessible through services like Xbox Cloud Gaming or
NVIDIA GeForce Now will be added to the knowledge panel. To make it clear that the game will stream in the browser, there is also language next to the URLs that says, "no download necessary."

At least a few people were perplexed by Google's announcement that you could "search and run video games in the cloud quickly with Google," as it sounded like Google may be hosting the games, however the feature merely links to games on other platforms. The Google-owned Stadia service is about to end and won't be available at all starting on January 18, 2023.
The new search tool is comparable to capabilities found on Chromebooks from the first wave of cloud gaming devices, which can show results for websites and apps as well as cloud games in the system search bar. Both desktop and mobile users should be able to access the links in Google Search.
