Garmin has now launched the Venu 3 lineups, the timepiece looks like a follow-up to the Venu 2, Venu 2S and Venu 2 Plus. The Venu 3 lineup comes in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes, which Garmin names as the Venu 3S and Venu 3, respectively.
The original Garmin Venu was the first watch of the brand to sport an AMOLED display, while the Garmin Venu 2 stole the limelight for being the best sports watches in the market with this sort of display accompanied by superior sports tracking functionality.
The device has retained some familiar features including morning report, recovery time and HRV tracking. The nap tracking feature is the key highlight of the device, which may further trickle down to other smartwatches of this range. Another major feature of the Venu 3 lineups includes wheelchair sport-specific workout modes.
There have been slight modifications in terms of hardware for Venu 3 series. For example, the Venu 3 retains a 1.4-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 454 x 454 pixels while the Venu 3S has a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 390-pixel native resolution.
According to Garmin, it has added the following features to the Venu range with its third-generation models:
- Body Battery improvements
- Built-in speaker and microphone
- Interval creation
- Meditation activity
- Morning report
- Nap detection
- Rate of perceived exertion
- Sleep coach
- Two font sizes
- Wheelchair mode
- Workout benefit and recovery time
Moreover, Garmin claims to provide a battery back up of up to 10 days for the smaller Venu 3S and 14 days for the Venu 3. As usual, these estimated battery life drops sharply with GNSS location services enabled as the Venu 3 is slated for up to 20 hours of usage with all-systems GNSS mode enabled.

Regardless, the Garmin Venu 3 series is available for purchase at a price of $449.99 across all available finishes and sizes. For further information, please visit Garmin’s official website.
