In a report by
the5krunner, a number of new Garmin smartwatch features seem to have leaked. ECG with Afib identification and notifications for a lower-than-expected SpO2 level while sleeping is among the allegedly forthcoming technologies. The arrival of new sports such as basketball, boxing, mixed martial arts, squash, and table tennis is also rumored to be imminent.
It appears that a number of new features for Garmin smartwatches have surfaced. Wearables with SpO2 level sensors may soon be able to alert you if your blood oxygen level drops below a preset level while you are sleeping, according to a report by the5krunner.

It's possible that Garmin will advise customers to use this tool to improve their sleep. Additionally, there are rumors that some of the more current, more expensive Garmin smartwatch models may get an ECG capability that can identify Afib. You would put two fingers on the watch's metal bezel to take a measurement.
The leaker claims that the Garmin Connect app will soon have additional sports profiles for basketball, boxing, mixed martial arts, squash, and table tennis (full list below). A full backup feature, the ability to restore your device to a specified time, and the ability to transfer only selected settings to a new watch are possible new settings features that could be coming soon. A virtual experience badge is another allegedly new feature, but it's not obvious how you'd get one.

Additional features included the option to allow other Garmin users to view your account, an index scale fat calibration tool, and touchscreen-based workout intensity adjustment.
The5krunner claims to have found the data from "a single trustworthy source." Future Forerunner 265 and 265s smartwatches are anticipated to include these rumored new features. Regarding the alleged leak, Garmin has not issued an official statement.
