After sharing explicit TikTok videos of herself brandishing weapons from her department, an attractive female police officer had half of her salary taken away. Brazilian Ruana Pedrosa Andrade has nearly 300,000 followers on the social media site, and she has been entertaining them with videos of her dancing, working out, and having fun with big guns while wearing her uniform. She currently has 1.1 million likes on her videos. And as a result, Ruana was informed earlier this week that her employment would be suspended for a period of 14 days. Later, she was informed that she would also be fined a portion of her pay but would still be required to work once her suspension was up. She hasn't been informed of the duration of the wage reduction. She was penalised for failing to perform her duties, which included informing the public about investigations, other police-related topics of interest, and "events that transpired in the department." Some of Ruana's videos, according to the Department of Public Safety, may have been "possibly" shot "on the property of Pernambuco Civil Police units during working hours." Ruana's penalty, according to the Pernambuco Civil Police Officers' Union, was "over the top." Rafael Cavalcanti, president of the union, said: "We will monitor this situation and we may even file legal actions to support the policewoman." Ruana told the local media she would talk about the situation with attorneys. Regarding possible legal action, the police station where she works has made no further comments.
