Google previewed its new AR glasses at I/O 2022 in May and displayed the next technologies that would be added to the company's lineup and integration. The wearable technology only offered a teaser and very little else, but recent rumours claim that the AR glasses would be operated via wireless rings and bracelets. Although this is already a standard practice in the augmented reality industry, wearable fashion items would be offered in place of a separate remote control. In place of the cumbersome remote controls that people are used to for AR and VR technology, the insider claims that Google will offer either rings or bracelets for accessing the wearable. It would also be fantastic if wearable remotes could control the AR glasses. This would provide a practical way to carry the gadget at all times and make it easy to store the device or travel it to new locations. Insiders claim that Google wants to control its augmented reality glasses with both rings and wrist wearables.

When Can I Buy Google AR Glasses?

Google's augmented reality glasses have not yet received an official release date, although it is anticipated that it will happen somewhere in or around 2024. Although it's unclear where the company is right now, there are rumours that Google is conceptualising and building the AR glasses. These initiatives will soon be made public, but Big Tech hasn't made any announcements in the media about them. Before this year's I/O 2022, there were numerous speculations about Google's Project Iris, also known as its augmented reality spectacles, and the company even teased the device there. In an effort to pave the way for other choices in the future, Google unveiled its first and most recent Pixel Watch earlier this year, broadening the internet giant's viewpoint on wearable technology.
