On Monday, February 6, the search engine behemoth announced Google Bard, a new AI model that can compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
The screens in this image, which was taken on January 23, 2023, in Toulouse, southwest France, are displaying the logos of Microsoft and ChatGPT, a software program for conversational artificial intelligence developed by OpenAI.
Google confirmed the introduction of Bard, putting an end to all the rumors regarding this new AI. On the other hand, a recent leak from Microsoft Bing revealed that ChatGPT would be a new feature.
With the ChatGPT integration and Bard’s impending release, it appears that changes to the marketing sector will soon be necessary.
Google Bard and Microsoft Bing ChatGPT: Will they kill SEO?
Sanchin Ganesh, co-founder, and director of Dreamsoft Innovations described how ChatGPT and Bard might impact marketing in a post on his official Twitter account.
He claimed that the introduction of Google Bard and Bing’s ChatGPT integration might signal the end of SEO (search engine optimization) and the beginning of AEO (answer engine optimization).
Both ChatGPT and Bard use any type of inquiry (question) to produce text-based responses. In order for the AI models to produce better responses, users must type their questions rather than simply enter keywords.
ChatGPT and Bard are superior to traditional search engines because they provide more interesting responses.
Google hasn’t said whether Bard will also be incorporated into its search engine technology as of this writing. The way consumers search for material might change if Google Search ever added Bard as a new function.
