According to Atlas VPN report, Google Chrome is the most vulnerable browser with 303 vulnerabilities amounting to 3159 of them. The data is based on the VulDB database taken between January 1, 2022, to October 5, 2022. It is the only browser to have new issues this month which include CVE-2022-3318, CVE-2022-3314, CVE-2022-3311, CVE-2022-3309, and CVE-2022-3307. The program can track errors and susceptibilities through plenty of programs and there is no information on these findings. However, according to Altas VPN, system memory gets corrupted and can be fixed by upgrading to 106.0.5249.61. Next on the list of vulnerabilities is Mozilla Firefox which had 117 of them, Microsoft Edge had 103 on October 5th which has increased by 61% from 2021, and 806 vulnerabilities since its launch. Safari has the lowest count of vulnerabilities, with 26 of them in the first three quarters of 2022 and 1139 in total. Google Chrome Is The Most Susceptible Browser: Report No reports of vulnerabilities in the Opera browser were found in 2022 and overall 344 of them. Chrome, Edge, and Opera share the Chromium browser engine as a result, vulnerabilities in this may affect all. It generates source code that is used by all browsers using chromium. However, not all errors will affect them as companies create their browsers in their specific ways. Apple is ensuring its browser is safe as its browser Safari had a billion users by May 2022. The Internet is an extremely important source to connect but also vulnerable, so make sure to update your browsers, and be cautious while downloading plugins and extensions from unknown sources.
