One reason the version number is currently in the triple digits is that Google Chrome was one of the first web browsers to produce new versions on a regular basis. The schedule for Chrome updates is currently being accelerated once more by Google. The first week of each update will be labeled as "Early Stable," Google stated today. Chrome will henceforth release significant updates every three weeks. According to the business, "this early stable version will be delivered to a limited percentage of users, with the bulk getting the release a week later at the normally scheduled date. This will also be the date the new version is available via the Chrome download page." In September 2021, Google last altered the release schedule for Chrome. The first release cycle for Chrome was changed from the previous six weeks to a four-week cycle with version 94. A speedier release cycle, according to Google at the time, "allows us to experiment and iterate on new features more effectively through origin trials, without having to wait as long between releases. It doesn't imply that we will deliver new features faster or with a greater number of features. Google chrome update Prior to rolling out an update to everyone, Google is hoping the new "Early Stable" stage will make it easier to find any remaining bugs and other problems. Even fewer features could be added to Chrome with each update if the development cycle is cut by another week, but a week extra of testing might mean fewer bugs for everyone.
