Google unveiled improvements for its Pixel phones and the Pixel Watch on Monday, including plans to expand the availability of several helpful camera features.
Google announced quicker Night Sight, its tool for taking low-light images, is coming to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in its first feature release of 2023 after releasing on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro last year. The business also reaffirmed that all Pixel phones now come with the Magic Eraser tool for eliminating extraneous items from pictures.
In the “coming weeks,” Google stated, users will be able to further personalize the Pixel Watch’s audio and graphics, including additional “color correction and grayscale settings” to accommodate a wider range of display preferences. The firm also referred to the Pixel Watch’s fall detection feature, which Google claimed last month could distinguish between a violent fall and exercise movements.
A feature that shares timers set on Nest smart home devices to Pixel phones and allows you to stop them without having to unlock your phone was also highlighted by Google. Direct My Call, a feature that lets you see phone menu options in advance for toll-free calls, is now available to Pixel 4A and newer devices.
